DSSSB or Delhi subordinate services selection board is a government undertaking set up to recruit staff for various posts under Delhi government and administration. The reputed exam is conducted every year to fill the positions in various bodies such as Municipal corporations of Delhi, Delhi Financial Corporation, New Delhi Municipal Council, Delhi Fire Service, Delhi Transco Limited etc. DSSSB attracts lakhs of candidates every year and chooses the highly skilled and competent persons.
The following recruitment notices are being released by the DSSSB during the previous years:
DSSSB Exams will have two levels: Tier-I and Tier-II. The exam pattern for both these level of examination is different.
DSSSB Tier-I Exam
It is a computer-based online test of 200 marks divided into two sections – A and B.
General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, English and Hindi Language are the subjects in Section A of Tier-I DSSSB Exam and will constitute 100 marks.
Section B of DSSSB Tier-I Exam is an objective type exam which is conducted online. The exam carries 100 marks and is compulsory for the candidates appearing for the post of TGT, PGT, and other teaching posts offered through DSSSB.
DSSSB Tier-II Exam
It is also a Multiple Choice Question-based test of 200 marks. An additional descriptive exam is held offline with the purpose o testing the written skills for the candidates in English/Hindi. Candidates are usually required to write an essay which consists of 50 marks. Apart from this, a descriptive letter writing of 25 marks is also required.
Penalty for Wrong Answers: One wrong answer to a question will deduct 0.25 marks from the total of all sections.

To apply for DSSSB exam, a candidate is required to pay the application on 100 INR through SBI e-pay. Relaxation is given to students belonging to SC/ST/ PWD/Ex. Servicemen, and female candidates.
